Another reason why...

...I love being back in California is having a Disney pass and being able to spend the day with my mom and little brother. It was a beautiful day on Wednesday and we had a great day, no lines, great weather, and fun memories. We all experienced our first ride breaking down or interference on a ride, as we were at the top of Space Mountain the ride stopped, lights came on and we waited until the Disney members came and rescued us. I think it was scarier walking down that ride than the actual ride, but it made it a memorable experience. Here are a few pictures from our day, ENjoy :)

Chad the Champion

Today was Chad's first beach volleyball tournament, he went in just wanting to play and get some experience and he came out the Champion! He and his partner Jorge won first place, it was SO exciting even President Obama flew by to see it. (He really did) I am so proud of Chad he definately dominated, worked hard, and was a great sport throughout the whole day. A few of our friends that we play with each week came down to support him, it was really fun having them there. Weekend Trip

This past weekend we re-charged the batteries and took a trip to Vegas. It was a much needed trip for the both of us. We went from spending SO much time together to him working full time, which I know is normal but so far in our short married life we have been able to spend a lot of time together, since Chad's previous job was so flexible. But we are getting used to it and realizing how nice it is to get away for a weekend! The weather was great and we were able to lay out at the pool on Saturday and then saw the Cirque du Soleil show "O" the water show which was amazing!

We only took one picture of the two of us, not by choice but its just so hard to take pics when its the two of us, and when only ONE of us wants the pictures.

I wish!

Isn't that the cutest puppy you have ever seen? I wish she was mine, but she's not. I don't think my in-laws would be very happy if I came home with her. We thought about it, saying we got it so their grandkids would have a puppy to play with when they come on Sunday, but eventually came to the conclusion that wouldn't work, and I also didn't have $3,500 to take her home. Yep thats how much she cost. So first I need to get a job and then get a place of our own that allows pets. Until then I am still wishing!
