Lunch...
I went to Vons for lunch and decided a Lunchable sounded good, at the checkout line the bagger smiled and said, "I remember when I was in Elementary School and ate these!" Thanks dude for making me feel like I have an appetite of a 7 year old. I've come along way. I now eat salad, vegetables, fish, tomatoes, etc. Ok, I probably should graduate from the processed meat and cheese that are in the Lunchables, I can still buy a bag of Oreos for dessert, right? What do you eat for lunch? I'm at work so I can't cook anything...ideas?? Please?? So I don't have to be embarrassed anymore of my lunch!

Half Moon Nails
I loved this nail design since the first time I saw it on The Beauty Department. I decided to try it out for my weekend in Vegas. I loved it! It was so simple, you do not need to have a steady hand, since the stickers do all the work.
I'm linking up over @ All things Lovely come check it out!

Movie Trailer...
Have you seen the FULL trailer for the Hunger Games yet? They had a teaser trailer out before that gave you nothing to get too excited about, but on Good Morning America today they release the trailer and I am so excited to see this movie!
This weekend we went to Vegas with about 12 friends, we had a blast! I clocked in at the spa every morning and enjoyed relaxing with the girls. Mondays are always so tough after having a fun weekend, don't you agree? All the anticipation and excitement you have for your trip is now gone, and is now a memory. I took a few pictures and will share those tomorrow since I left my camera at home. Now I am looking forward to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then New Years! We have a SUPER fun trip planned with friends over the New Year Holiday that I can't even describe how excited I am for that!

Retail Therapy
Target can be a great place for me to go when I am a little stressed out, or just need some time to myself to shop for nothing of great importance. Today I headed on over with nothing on my list, excited to see what would end up in my cart, and then what would make it through the checkout line. (I tend to put back half of what I think I can't live with out).
Why I love each one of these simple purchases:
1. Mascara - this is my favorite one Loreal Voluminous, I have been using samples I got from Nordstrom and am so happy to be back to my basic cheap mascara that works better than the expensive ones
2. Nail Polish Remover: Means I have been painting my nails a lot b/c I have run out so fast
3.Hair Ties, I love a nice new one, all mine are stretched out and scattered around the house
4. Reinforcement stickers to try out this nail design
5. Big Bobby Pins so I can try hairstyles like
6. And a new flannel that is actually that is warm and cozy for this cooler weather.

The Grove
As I uploaded my pictures from the weekend, I realized it was all about food. We went to the Grove on Saturday to do some shopping, but ended up spending most of our time at the Farmers Market (they have the most AMAZING one) deciding what we were going to eat.
First stop: Titos Tacos. Its an LA landmark, we love the Tacos there!
Next we got down to The Grove, it is such a trendy glitzy outdoor mall. Both Chad and I felt WAY under dressed! The fashion, strollers, and dogs are all something that catch my eye. Last time we were there there was a little dog that had pink shoes, so cute/ridiculous!
Next we gave into our sweet tooth cravings and bought a crepe (another thing I am a sucker for)
Yummy Nutella
Unfortunately Chad wasn't feeling to well, so we left once it got dark, don't want him being sick for this weekend!

November means to me...
This week work has been crazy busy! Its a good thing but also means that I get really high strung and usually take out my stress on my husband (sorry hun). But luckily today the weather was a gorgeous 79 degrees and I took a walk along the beachduring lunch. I got to thinking about the weather and how different November has looked over the past 6 years for me.
I went to BYU-I in 2005-2007 and those Novembers were something I have never experienced before. So cold, snowy, and the beginning of the next 5 months being completely white, never seeing the grass till the spring. Being from California I never knew places could/would get that cold. It was definitely a learning experience that I hope I never have to learn again. Who knew nose hairs could freeze??
The next 2 Novembers where in Utah. Still cold, but much more mild then Rexburg. November in Utah was spent taking drives through Provo Canyon, enjoying the beautiful leaves, and sometimes the first snowfall. I actually liked November in Utah, besides the fact that it meant Winter was on the horizon.
And Now, the past 2 Novembers I have spent here in the Southbay Area of California. Definitely my most favorite Novembers. The weather starts to cool down, especially the mornings. Most days are in the 60s, except for days like today that are 79 degrees. While we don't get the fall leaves as much as Utah or other parts of the country we do get the occasional warm days. That was the hardest adjustment when I lived in Idaho and Utah, once November hits there is no warm weekend, its all cold!
So here's to a nice November, can't wait to see whats in store for our little family of 2.
What does November look like where you live?
Would you prefer the cooler weather to the warm weather?
