1st Weekend of Summer

It was the perfect weekend.

Friday - Temple Night followed by Tito's Tacos

Saturday - Spent the day in Manhattan Beach for Chad's Volleyball Tournament

 

Sunday - Went to Church and the b-b-q at Chad's parents. The salmon was caught by Chad and his dad last week on their Alaskan Fishing Trip.

Pretty

I was given these two white serving trays for our wedding (almost 5 years ago) and found they get much more use on my dresser than sitting tucked away in the kitchen cupboard. I love having my favorite nail polishes easily available on one, and my everyday watch, perfume and sunglasses on the other. Right in between the two is the "glass hand" where I can keep my rings nice and safe.

Now let's hope that the weather decides to be pretty this weekend as well!

This is a great summer meal, you don't have to turn on the oven!! And these are delicious! Thanks to Pinterest I have found one of my favorite meals, anytime I get to use the crock pot I get excited, it turns everything into delicious-ness with no effort on my part.

Third trimester started last week, I'm now 29 weeks and getting more and more excited for our nameless child to arrive. Here are some updates from my pregnancy so far:

Being hungry is my normal

Took the 3-hr glucose test and cried, worst day of my pregnancy so far. Luckily I passed.

Love the constant kicks that I feel all day long

Signing up for birthing classes today

Going to the gym regularly

Enjoying all the smiles from the cute old ladies in the grocery store

Anytime I see a little boy I can hardly stand the wait

Memorial Day Weekend

I'm finally getting around to getting some old posts done. Memorial Day Weekend was so fun, I love a 3 day weekend! We spent the day in Hermosa Beach at the Fiesta Days checking out the booths, getting good food and watching a few volleyball games. On Sunday we went to church and then met up with some friends for sunset dinner on the sand.

It's tradition to spend Memorial Day at the bay in Long Beach with my grandparents. This year was extra fun since my Aunt and Uncle were down from Utah, and a few other aunts that live in California all came to join the fun. We also picked up David and Meggan (my bro and his wife) from the airport on our way and they surprised everyone by coming back to California for a few days. We went kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, played volleyball, swam, laughed...a lot!

26 Weeks

Wedding

A few weeks ago (May 19th) we were able to go to my Uncle's wedding at the Los Angeles Temple. My uncle is the same age as my husband, which is kind of funny to me. He is my dad's youngest brother, 23 years younger to be exact. He was the last of the 8 kids in my dad's family to get married. It was such a fun day to see my dad with all of his siblings and parents. I loved being in the temple with all of my aunts, uncle, and grandparents, it was a perfect day. Chad even stepped in and was a groomsmen for the big day :)

Tanner's Graduation

Congrats to my brother Tanner for graduating high school on May 22, 2012. We were able to be there with 10 cousins, 1 aunt, 1 uncle, 4 grandparents, 6 siblings and spouses and 2 proud parents.
