Beach Trips!

This vacation has consisted mainly of visiting all the different beaches in Southern California. When you move away to the cold all you think about when coming to CA is going to the beach. And even though it hasn't been warm enough to go in the water we have been able to skateboard, play volleyball, frisbee, and scooter along the ocean.
We went to Long Beach with my family a few days ago thinking we would just stop for a few minutes as the sunset and ride the skateboard around. We began walking further and further from the car when we heard my sister McKenna yell, "Chad I think someones in your car!!" We looked towards the car and saw a man inside, Chad and my Dad both sprinted just as the man also started running. I thought for sure my purse was gone, so they both followed the thief not knowing if they were going to have to fight the guy or not. Fortunately when I got to the car I realized that my purse and everything was still there, the thief must have gotten startled and didn't have time to take anything. We felt that we were definately watched over and also thanked McKenna for saving the DAY!
On a happier note here are some picutres of our day in Long Beach, Misison Bay, Old Town San Diego, and Balboa Park. We really have been quite the tourists this trip!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year...we spent Christmas Eve in Wildomar with my family and had a great dinner, sang songs and opened presents. It was so much fun having the whole family there, the last 3 Christmases we have had a addition to the "Wilson Family" first it was Landon, then Chad and now Meggan. Grandma Dee and Grandpa David also came out to celebrate Christmas Eve with us.

Next we went to Torrance to spend Christmas Day with the Davenport side of the family. We opened up Christmas presents that Santa brought, had a great breakfast and then Chad and I took off to the Laker vs Celtics game. Chad's boss took us with him to this game and it was so much fun! I have never been to a Laker home game and this had to be the best one to go to. We left the game with a hoarse voice and happy our Lakers won on Christmas Day!

My sister-n-law and I got matching socks for Christmas!

After the Laker game we came back to Torrance had another great meal and played with our new gifts. It was a great day spent with family, friends, and of course the Lakers!

Recent Family Fun!

I havent blogged in a long time and it seems like so much has happened in the last couple weeks. We had a great Thanksgiving at my aunts house in Tooele with all of my family! We had a family ultimate frisbee game that was a lot of fun...for the most of us :) The day after Thanksgiving Meggan was baptized and right after that we headed down to St. George to spend some time with Chads family. It was a nice escape from the cold weather, we have such a good time in St. George! Most recently Chad and I watched our niece and nephew so their parents could get a night out on the town. They were so good for us, I am not gonna lie it made me a little baby hungry!
Luke didn't want to go to sleep so instead he came and cuddled with me on the couch, hoping his Uncle Chad wouldn't make him go to his bed.

We put up our little Christmas tree, its so small but it does the job, someday we will have a big house to put a huge tree!

This is the newest addition to our family! Chad said he is a truck guy, and with gas prices low we decided to make the purchase. Hopefully we can keep those gas prices going down!

Yes, my whole family can fit in our little apt. Chad loves when we make this face with our mouths wide open so I had everyone do the signature pose!

The girls in the family, minus Meggen!

Chad got put on Landon watch. We went to Bridal Veil Falls up the Provo Canyon and let Landon throw rocks into the river, he loved it so much that he wanted to jump in and go swimming.

My mom loves to play photographer. She is actually really good at taking pictures, what we all love most about when she takes pictures is the funny positions she gets in, in order to capture the shot!

My cute parents...still in love!
