Lazy Weekend

We actually got some cold, wet weather this past weekend. I have to admit it was a nice change of pace from the past few weekends we have had. While I do prefer to spend my Saturday out at the beach, watching my husband play volleyball (because I can't play due to my growing bump), reading a book and chatting with my friends,  I did love our cozy Saturday spent indoors.

We woke up and laid in bed for a while trying to think what we were going to do, that wasn't outside. We found a cute breakfast cafe in Seal Beach with great reviews and threw on some clothes and headed south. The food was delicious, we both ordered crepes, Chad ordered a "manly crepe" with meat, and protein and I ordered a sweet banana fosters crepe. Both were delicious. We spent most of the weekend wrapped in blankets, watching movies, and I worked on my talk I gave on Sunday. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend. I could use a rainy Saturday on occasion.

PS. I went to NYC last week and am working on getting my pictures up to share :)

Last weekend was COOOLD! That cafe looks super cute! My sis and FBIL go to Seal Beach quite often, I'll have to tell them to check it out if they haven't yet. :)
