It's safe to say that Catalina is a great place to celebrate a birthday. We took Catalina Express over in the morning and arrived at 10:45 with our packed picnic lunch. The main street is so cute with little shops to walk through. We rented a golf cart for an hour and a half and the views were beautiful, this is a must. After riding around the island we found a spot on the sand and had lunch together. Chad made us a great lunch with all of my favorite snacks. Then we took a nice nap in the sun, a nap in the middle of the week was heavenly. Next we rented a kayak and explored the island via water. Luckily I have a strong husband that let me take lots of breaks :) After our kayak adventures we laid out on the beach again, the weather was perfect. We walked the streets some more, grabbed some dinner and then headed back to the dock to take off. I saw a dolphin from the boat as we headed back to San Pedro, and then I fell asleep the rest of the boat ride back. I'm looking forward to the next time that we get to go back. I'm thinking maybe every 5 years we go for our birthday. The first time I went Chad took me for my 19th bday, I was so much more mature this time. haha.

I have always wanted to go to Catalina! I think I better talk Landon into a little trip. How fun!!
It's been a dream of mine to go to Catalina. We went to California back in February, but we weren't there long enough to check it out. A trip back is necessary. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos. Really glad I came across your blog.
