Newsprint Nails

I saw this idea on Pinterest (aka my ideal world) and had to try it out for myself.
1st. Apply two coats of polish (white, nude and light pastels all look good), let dry for 30 minutes
2nd. Dip nail into rubbing alcohol, and then press a piece of newspaper (print side down) onto nail for 5-10 seconds
3rd. This time I painted my ring finger with OPI's Crown Me Already for some sparkle.
3rd. Apply a topcoat once all nails are done.

Ooo, I LOVE this idea! I can't wait to try it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. And yes, you definitely need to try the Proud Bird. It's a little antiquated, but I think that gives it charm. Plus you can't beat all the history! Let me know what you think of it.

Now following!

P.S. I just did a post about this! My nails didn't turn out as nicely as yours (I'm still getting the hang of it) but it was still so fun! Thanks for the idea. :) (And I definitely gave you credit in my post!)
